Daily horse experiences for individuals and groups

Kultaranta is a small, family-owned stable nestled in the heart of the Lappish forest — not too far, but just far enough to feel like a true escape. On our farm, you'll meet our lovely Irish Cob horses, whose strong and steady steps carry you through peaceful forest trails and beautiful landscapes. Our horses are cherished members of the family, each with a deep bond to us, making them safe, trusted, and happy companions on every ride.

Winter with horses

Experience the magic of winter with trail rides, Northern Lights adventures, and cozy horse-drawn sleigh rides through snowy forests.

Summer with horses

Discover Lapland's beauty with scenic trail rides, Midnight Sun journeys, and peaceful horse-drawn carriage rides in nature.

We offer comfortable transfers to and from Rovaniemi city center in a Mercedes-Benz Vito (available at an additional cost), ensuring a smooth and stylish journey.

Classes & Courses

At Kultaranta, we offer a variety of inspiring classes and courses for all ages and interests. In summer, children can join our fun and educational riding camps, learning horsemanship in a safe and supportive environment. For something unique, try horseback archery, explore "coaching with connection" to deepen your partnership with horses, or discover the world of animal communication. Each experience is designed to be engaging, empowering, and rooted in respect for our horses.

Summer Camps for kids

A full weekend of horsey fun! On our summer camps we teach basic horse care, enjoy the company of our four-legged friends and of course ride. Each camp consists of at least one riding lesson, one short forest ride and one longer forest ride. We always tailor the activities according to the children's wishes so every camp is truly special.

Horseback Archery

Speed, adrenaline and accuracy- all of these things get combined in this wonderful sport. We have weekly lessons every Thursday with our well experienced coach Eva Sneck.

CWC- coaching with connection

Technique, awareness and feelings, these are the most important things to take into consideration when doing anything with horses. Learn more with us!

Lodging

We offer two unique cabins, each with its own charm. Aurinkola is a spacious log cabin for up to 10 guests, perfect for families and groups, with a sauna and large private yard. Kultasärkkä is a cozy riverside retreat for up to 6 guests, featuring an outdoor sauna and summer hot tub. Both cabins offer year-round comfort, peaceful surroundings, and an authentic Lapland experience close to nature.
