Our horses

Irish Cobs are known for being strong and sturdy, well suited for the arctic climate with their gorgeus fur and mane. They have a calming presence making you feel at ease. You will find that they are wise beyond their age and if you listen closely you can hear them telling you stories and teaching you about life. These mighty horses are the perfect companions to explore Lapland from a different perspective. Our horses' wellbeing always comes first. Each horse is ridden a maximum of once a day — never twice. They also get to choose if they want to work. Before every ride, we head to the pasture and see who's waiting at the gate, eager to come along. Those happy, willing horses are the ones you'll meet on your adventure. Our herd is approximately 30 horses, but let us introduce you to our Stable Superstars below:

Paavo aka. Pablo

This level headed horse is the leader of our herd. With his strong presence and calm nature Paavo makes sure that everybody is well taken care of. Paavo excels in the forest trails where he will happily carry all riders, "don't worry, I got this" is what he would say.

Muru aka. Sweetheart

Muru is a motherly figure for us all. She was born on our farm and since day one she has been wise beyond her age. Muru often takes care of people with fear of horses with gentle guidance, her patience never ending. Muru will happily give you a hug and kiss at the end of your ride. Tapsa aka. Dapsu

When you want to go for a sleigh or a carriage ride Tapsa is your guy. He is a professional who takes great pride in his work. Tapsa is very gentle and loves kids, he has a strong but ever so gentle presence. You can always count on him.
